While remodeling my home, I couldn’t help but notice how often natural wood is again trending in new kitchens. There’s something so beautiful and fresh about modern wood spaces—from large ceiling beams to fully-paneled custom refrigeration, I cannot get enough of it. Here are a few favorites I come back to for design inspiration:

Moody Backsplash

I love this luxurious kitchen designed by Little Cabin Life–a name that definitely rings true as this space gives me A-frame-in-a-forest vibes. The dark, moody backsplash with a Thermador cooktop, handmade butcherblock island, and soapstone countertops provide a perfect mix of natural wood and sleek stone.

Pretty & Paneled

I can’t take my eyes off this statement-making wood-paneled refrigeration unit designed by Stacia Winkler. This custom creation features a Thermador 23.5” Replacement Column paired with an 18” freezer column to perfectly fit a 42” space. Similarly, the 60” range in this kitchen offers total personalization and stand-out design.

Dreamy Doorways

This two-toned wood project by Longview Builders, Inc provides the ultimate versatility for someone looking to incorporate a mix of tones. I love how crisp the wooden beams and door appear in a mostly-white space—it’s the perfect combination of natural elements and clean design.

Hello, Yellow!

This Scandinavian beauty designed by Yvonne Howell has an element of surprise. Mixing a variety of wood tones and a vibrant pop of color throughout the space creates multiple points of eye-catching interest. I love the subtle touches like the bold blue teapot sitting atop the Thermador range —this kitchen has everything!
