The Big Game is finally here and there’s no better time to serve savory sweets. As family and friends cheer for their favorite team, win or lose, they’ll enjoy devouring delectable desserts.

Before kickoff, I love to begin with a toast, and a Ginger Grapefruit Margarita makes for the perfect celebratory sip. This classic drink with a twist combines freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, ginger beer, margarita mix, and tequila—all ingredients to start the party off with a win. Before pouring, dress up your margarita by wetting the rim of the glass, dipping it in salt, and garnishing it with a lime or grapefruit wedge.

It wouldn’t be a game day gathering without salty-sweet snacks, and of course, beer. As a standout treat, I combine the two and surprise my guests with savory Beer-Pretzel Caramels. I make mine with malt syrup, fine sea salt, heavy whipping cream, and crushed pretzels. These sugar-coated candies are a satisfying and crunchy sweet to nibble on throughout the game.

Halftime calls for a special surprise, and nothing says game day like warm nachos. These Cinnamon-Berry Dessert Nachos will score extra points with all your guests. I bake homemade cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips in my Thermador oven, and then top with hot chocolate sauce, fresh berries, and whipped cream. To take this dessert to the next level, I garnish with warm honey for a final, exquisite touch.

For the last play of the game, I like to serve my guests something chilled and refreshing. Each time I pull a prepared tray of Pomegranate Cosmo Pops from my freezer, the crowd cheers with excitement. These heavenly ice pops are made with fresh lime juice, pomegranate juice, and orange bitters. It’s easy to modify this recipe with fresh orange juice, pureed blueberries, or another bright fruit juice to match the color of the team you’re rooting for.

With these enticing recipes, your guests will spend less time discussing the commercials, and more time captivated by your exceptional Game Day menu.
