We love food and we love wine. We also love celebrating, so this year we’re pleased as punch to be at the ninth annual Chicago Gourmet, taking place at Millennium Park in Chicago, IL this weekend! This world class celebration of food, wine, beer, spirits and Chicago’s rich culinary heritage offers an exciting schedule with live cooking demonstrations, seminars, book signings and more.

Thermador 60-Inch Range

As the exclusive appliance sponsor of Chicago Gourmet, you will find Thermador just about everywhere! We’ll be bringing the heat to the Bon Appètit Culinary Stage and Main Stage, where celebrity chefs will present lively and engaging demonstrations of their cooking techniques and use Thermador appliances as their ultimate sous chef. We’ll also make the Grand Cru wine tasting event extra cool this year – all the fine wines will be chilled to blissfully delightful temperatures within our wine preservation centers.

But, Thermador will really shine in our own Star Lounge, where we are throwing the birthday party of the century all day, every day! We’re talking a bubbly mimosa bar, sweet treats rolled out nonstop, boozy jellies, boozy popsicles, mini martinis and more!

The highlight of each day in the Star Lounge will be a show-stopping demonstration from artist Jessie Bearden on Sept. 24 at 2pm and Sept. 25 at 2pm. Jessie will make playing with your food a true artistic experience as she creates original masterpieces using food as her ‘paint’!  You won’t want to miss checking out her sessions where you can watch her create impressive masterpieces of edible art.
