Thermador Pro Grand Steam Range

Preview of the Ultimate Culinary Kitchen

Not even Marty McFly could have predicted this kitchen of the future.

As we start making plans for 2012 and beyond, I can’t help but get excited thinking about all of our new Thermador innovations in the pipeline. Our product designers and engineers have been diligently working away at some of the most technologically advanced kitchen appliances in the industry.

The kitchen of the future — or the Ultimate Culinary Kitchen, as we like to call it — is just around the corner. Parts of it are already here.

This fall we launch the cornerstone of the Ultimate Culinary Kitchen — the Thermador Pro Grand® Steam Range, the world’s first all-in-one cooking appliance to combine a Steam & Convection combination oven, a full-size convection oven, a six-burner gas rangetop with a grill or griddle option, and a warming drawer.

But the Pro Grand Steam Range, otherwise known as the Ultimate Culinary Center™, is just the beginning.

Looking ahead to 2012, we’re set to unveil innovations in wall ovens (a product category that Thermador invented in 1947), dishwashers, refrigerators and our induction cooktop line, the latter which we’re extremely excited about. Thermador’s induction technology, already a futuristic kitchen marvel that uses a magnetic field and alternating electric currents, will be taken to the next level in 2012. Look for our announcement during the 2012 International CES Unveiled press event in January.

In addition to new revolutionary product launches, expect revamps and additions to our existing lines. New features will include SoftClose™ hinges on all of oven doors and warming drawers that prevent slamming; Full Access® telescopic racks on the ovens for safety and convenience; new dishwasher modes that cut cycle time to one fifth; and countless other industry exclusives.

The kitchen of the future consists of products like these from Thermador. The good news is that it’s not just a pipedream — the kitchen of the future is coming to your nearest specialty kitchen appliance dealers in 2012.

And Marty McFly couldn’t be more pleased.

Cheers,
