When it comes to planning meals, I try to keep things exciting – and with more time at home, I’ve been turning to my tried and true recipes and given them a little twist. These are some of my all-time favorites – be it for a larger household or a party of one. The best part is, these dishes require minimal ingredients, pack a ton of flavor and are visually delightful, too.

Thermador Breakfast Butternut Squash and Kale Hash

What better way to mix up your typical breakfast than with a warm and hearty hash recipe? Serve the perfect amount of savory with this protein-packed plate. My favorite rendition includes over-easy eggs, butternut squash and kale, but feel free to substitute for your preferred protein, root veggie or leafy green. Your loved ones will be running back for seconds.

Pro Tip: Although often topped with eggs to create a bold breakfast, this delightful dish can be enjoyed at any time of the day – just spice up your serving with fresh or frozen veggies, savory squash or potato and your favorite protein to make a custom meal that works no matter when hunger strikes.

Thermador Fresh Linguine with Heirloom Tomato Sauce

I love a cozy meal, and when it comes to comfort food, pasta is at the top of the list. Even better, I try to make my own whenever I find I have extra time. This flavorful linguine recipe calls for a simple set of ingredients, many of which are staples in my home, including tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and basil. There’s also something especially soothing about preparing my own pasta noodles – and it’s easier to do than you would think! All you need are flour, eggs, oil and water – most of which you likely already have at home – and you’re good to go.

Pro Tip: While I enjoy cooking with fresh produce whenever possible, this dish is equally delish when using veggies and seasonings of the canned, jarred or frozen variety. As well, if you’re not ready to take the next step by preparing your own pasta from scratch, boxed noodles of any kind will do the trick. Either way, you will be savoring every bite.

Thermador Pea Ravioli

As pasta is often a household favorite, what’s one more winning recipe to indulge in? I love to prepare this pea ravioli because in addition to being packed with flavor, the ingredients are all easily found in my fridge or freezer – and it’s a visually appealing dish that can’t help but evoke the feelings of spring.

Pro Tip: Fresh or frozen peas are the star of this dish – so don’t be afraid to go all out! While this recipe originally calls for this small but mighty veggie, if you don’t have any on hand, feel free to swap in beans that you have stocked in your refrigerator, freezer or pantry. Similar in texture, lima beans, cranberry beans or black-eyed peas work best, and can really bring out the flavor of the pasta. Coupled with brown sugar, this meal will pop with a rich flavor. And, as with the delish dish before, if you’re feeling extra adventurous and prefer to prepare your own noodles, this is the perfect recipe to try it out.

Spinach and Goat Cheese Frittata

Another versatile meal that can be enjoyed from morning until night is a flavorful frittata. My dish of choice includes spinach and goat cheese, but you can easily substitute these ingredients for your favorite greens, cheese and veggies that you have at home. Peppers, tomatoes, asparagus and feta cheese are popular choices to consider.

Pro Tip: This savory dish is quick to create and can even be prepared ahead of time if your schedule allows. Go ahead and make a few batches so that you can easily store in your freezer – you will always have a tasty meal at-the-ready. Freeze the entire dish or divide into individual servings so family members can easily grab and eat at their pleasing.

Dark Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Berries

We’ve saved the best for last – a delicious dessert to dive into! With more time at home, you might find that you are baking and indulging in sweets more often. This magnificent mousse is the perfect addition to your repertoire – made from decadent dark chocolate and topped with berries for a rich yet refreshing post-meal treat. Whether whipping it up for one or for the entire household, this delightful dessert is sure to provide a sweet escape.

Pro Tip: While the original recipe calls for berries, feel free to swap in your favorite toppings for the ultimate customized experience. From fresh or dried fruit, to coconut shavings, to nuts, to granola – the options are truly endless!
