We built a very, very high end home 6 years ago and I really liked the “look” of the Thermador dual range. From there, we bought the side x side refrigerator, warming drawer, dishwasher and micro wave. BIG MISTAKE. Range has had numerous problems and now cannot replace striker (local rep does not have a clue), been on hold with the “1-800 # forever. Refrig ice maker has not worked in a year or so. Faulty design on ice discharge flap allows warm air into ice bin and then the free water re melts, freezing the motor. Quietest dishwasher I know of but racks inside are poorly constructed.
Do yourself a favor-Subzero for refrigeration, Wolf for range!!!
I am very disappointed in my Thermador appliances. I built a 1 million dollar home and outfitted it with all Thermador appliances. We have the 8- burner professional gas range with double ovens, vent hood, dish washer, microwave, 30″ built in refrigerator and a 24″ built in freezer. These appliances are about 4- years old. Over the last the to four months we have had our freezer not working and worked on at least 4-times. They have replaced the fan motor two times, the control board 2-times and some other items. We have spent over $1,000 trying to get iit to work. We have lost two complete freezer loads of food. The fact repair company Chattanooga Appliance Repair has not been able to repair this freezer. I’m at my wits end with the Thermador brand. I have had to purchase a upright freeze to put in my utility room so we could store food. What can Thermador do to repair this freezer?

I am having problems receiving my steam oven. I made the purchase at the end of October and had a custom cabinet built for the steam oven and a convection oven. The cabinet was in place to receive the ovens on November 4th. At this point my old oven was removed. The delivery/install did not happen. So I was without an oven for Thanksgiving. The next delivery date was December 10th. The ovens did arrive but the steam oven was damaged, so now my new delivery date is after Christmas, . This means I will not have an oven to host a Christmas dinner. The store blames the delivery problem on Thermoador. I am trying to find out why the delay in delivery and hopefully trying to have all of my appliances installed in order to host my party. In addition to the ovens I purcahsed a cook top and a dishwasher. HELP!

Time is ticking and Christmas is near. Will Thermador be able to facilitate an early arrival of my Steam oven or will I have to wait six weeks for a replacement of a damaged oven. Still waiting to hear from a Thermador representative!
