Fire up the Thermador Star Burners, break out your best dinnerware, uncork that bottle of wine you’ve been saving….

And boot up your laptop.

Welcome to Thermador’s virtual dinner party, or, officially known as the Thermador Web Experience. Today marks the formal launch of what is not only a unique immersive cooking and product demonstration website, but the first site of its kind among major appliance brands.

Would you expect anything less from the brand that’s known for so many firsts? From introducing the first built-in wall oven, to taking the stainless steel kitchen mainstream, to redefining gas cooktops with the patented Star Burner, Thermador has continually defined kitchen innovation for the serious cook — the Web Experience not the least of which.

Hosted at https://blog.thermador.com/experience, or via a link on Thermador’s homepage, the Web Experience communicates directly with the culinary enthusiast, someone most passionate about cooking and entertaining at home. The recipes and how-to cooking demonstrations will help the true cook create what, in the end, we’re all looking for — the perfect meal. Have a hankering for butter-poached lobster tail? Learn how to perfect it using our Masterpiece Series Gas Cooktops. Or what about pan-seared duck breast with cranberry risotto? No problem — our induction demonstration has you covered.

After more than six months in the making, we’re finally here.

The concept for the virtual dinner stemmed from our Gallery & Training Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., where throughout the year we invite employees, dealers, designers, culinary enthusiasts and media out to experience the latest Thermador kitchen innovations. Everyone walks away truly impressed with what we have to offer and our overall passion for the brand. Essentially, we wanted to take that Scottsdale experience, bottle it, and bring it to the rest of the country.

Start the New Year off with a bang, I always say. It sets the tone for the 12 months to follow.

Here’s wishing you a prosperous 2011.
