For nearly 100 years, Thermador has been making the American kitchen more beautiful, luxurious and powerful with our innovative appliances designed for real cooks. Today we are proud to share that our newest addition to the Thermador line is now available: the 30” Five-Burner Pro Rangetop and 30” Five-Burner Pro Harmony® Range.
The new range and rangetop are the only 30” professional-style rangetop and range to feature five burners. In addition to providing superior heat distribution for more even cooking, two of the five patented Thermador Star® Burners on these appliances offer the exclusive ExtraLow® simmering feature, which enables culinary enthusiasts to simmer delicate sauces or soups without worry of scorching.
Designers and builders will also enjoy features on these appliances that provide more freedom to include Thermador power and performance in virtually any home. With a surface total of 59,000 BTUs, this new platform will work in kitchens that need ventilation systems with a minimum of 300 CFM, or require a non-duct recirculation setup. This makes the new range and rangetop a great alternative for luxury condos.
In addition, the innovative design of this range enables designers and builders to be more creative with their design as these are the only professional series range and rangetop on the market that can be installed with zero clearance, flush against a rear wall surface. This means that designers and culinary enthusiasts can choose custom tile work that can be installed directly behind the range or rangetop. This is due to an innovative venting technology that reduces back wall temperatures nearly 20-25 percent.
With the introduction of these innovative new cooking appliances, Thermador continues to lead the way in offering solutions that enable culinary enthusiasts to achieve a kitchen design that revolves around their unique needs and entertaining style.
We have a Thermidor model T48BD810NSOO fridge which is less then 2 years old and still in warranty.
It went out of order 3 weeks ago and despite repeated calls to the company and agent the fridge is still not fixed. Each time a tech visits we learn a new story, a new part to be ordered and so on. The latest is it will take 10 days to get the part.
Imagine living in Texas searing heat without a fridge.
One would expect better service from such an expensive brand.
We have a double wall-installed SS oven with a separated control panel situated directly on top of the two vertically hung ovens. After six years, the electonic panel lighting went dark. We could not set the temperature or see the temperature for the ovens, and could not see or set the broilers either. We engaged an independent parts installer recommended by the Manufacturer in our area of Northern California. The electronics board was replaced at a cost of $482. A year later the temperature and settings lights began to dim and six months later were no longer visible. We think the problem is the heat that rises from the top oven, which we do not use anymore for that reason, has adversely affected the functioning of the electronic lights. I guess this reflects a design problem. We cannot be the only ones having this problem. Thermador is not a name that we think highly of for kitchen appliances.

That’s awful. We installed all Thermador products in our homes in La Quinta CA 8 years ago and had great service and support. I was thinking of using them in Texas on our next project but if the service has degenerated to this, I will look elsewhere. Thanks for your comment. Where are you in Texas, it could be their representative in Texas, or distributor that should be changed if this is their service. Have you called the min office. I would, every day till you are satisfied.
