After all of the shopping, cooking and entertaining of the past few weeks, what better way to keep the momentum going than by throwing the ultimate New Year’s Eve party! As my personal favorite holiday of the season, nothing thrills me more than gathering with my family and loved ones over delicious sips and appetizers and reflecting on the most special moments of the year – while eagerly looking ahead at what’s to come. Whether you’re in the mood for a lowkey night in or a lavish celebration, here are my favorite New Year’s Eve recipes that guests will gush about all year long!

As the traditional toast of choice on the big night, no New Year’s celebration is complete without champagne. But just because that’s the common cocktail of the holiday, it doesn’t mean your drink has to be ordinary. When creating my signature sip, I opt for seasonal garnishes that brighten up the bubbly! My Champagne Pomegranate Cocktail does just the trick, with a simple yet stylish touch of pomegranate seeds added to each glass. What better way to incorporate the colors and flavors of the winter season! To keep my champagne glasses perfectly sparkling, I turn to my Thermador Star-Sapphire™ Dishwasher. With the innovative Star Speed®, the industry’s fastest hot water cycle at 20 minutes, I can rest assured knowing that my guests will always be ready for another round. And, with the industry-first Star Glow, the dishwasher illuminates with vivid shades of blue or radiant shades of white that set the mood to match the occasion. How’s that for a New Year’s celebration?

For a festive appetizer, I opt for a flavorful bite. One of my favorite dishes to serve during the holidays is Asian Shrimp Cocktail Bites. With the contrast of piping hot shrimp and cold – yet spicy – dipping sauce, it’s the perfect party appetizer. After combining my ingredients, which includes finely chopped shrimp and water chestnuts (another holiday classic!), minced garlic, slivered almonds and lemon zest, I form into balls and place on an oiled baking sheet to cook in my Thermador 30” Professional Series Oven. With the Super Fast Preheat, my oven is ready to go in less than seven minutes, so I can spend more time celebrating – not waiting. Happy New Year, indeed!

To round out the festivities, I like to have a selection of sweets on hand. For a perfect party dessert that’s just as delicious as it is special, I opt for a Chocolate Soufflé topped with cream and berries. Made from rich dark chocolate, you won’t have to worry about this dish being left behind once the clock strikes midnight. Delightfully decadent and sumptuously celebratory, it’s the perfect way to welcome the New Year!
