Throughout this year, we’ve had a great time visiting beautiful cities and exploring stunning architecture, rich cultures and diverse traditions. As part of our 100th birthday celebration, we’ve taken part in numerous designer show homes across the country, and we were able to squeeze in one more before the end of the year.
We worked with the very talented trade professionals at Hatcliff Construction, who put together the Southern Living Custom Builder Program Showcase Home in Nashville, Tennessee. The magnificent, nearly 7,000-square-foot home is located within the luxurious Grove Community, and features southern charm and simple elegance. Mary Hatcliff, the builder of the home, specifically selected quality Thermador products for this project to provide the ultimate cook and entertainer with innovative, powerful appliances with exceptional craftsmanship.
The grand, chef-style kitchen was designed to cook up magnificent meals for large gatherings. It features the new 60-Inch Pro Grand® Range and a standout Culinary Preservation Center with a 30” Freezer Column and 30” Refrigeration Column, where the cook can store plenty of fresh ingredients ahead of meal prep.
The home is also the first to feature the new Thermador Fully Automatic Built-In Coffee Maker – an appliance that every coffee lover is sure to see as a necessity. The programmable coffeehouse-style machine can prepare up to ten different hot beverages with just the push of a button.
And Thermador appliances weren’t limited to the kitchen. The lower level of the home is an extension of the entertaining experience, featuring a billiards room, theater, exercise room, a bar with kitchenette and two bedroom suites. The bar area is equipped with the 24” under counter Wine Reserve Refrigerator and a MicroDrawer® Microwave, allowing the host to serve chilled glasses of wine and warm snacks all day and night.
The show home was unveiled on October 13th, and designers, builders and locals came out to see the stunning new project. It was open to the public for tours through October 30th, and proceeds from ticket sales went to Operation Finally Home, a nonprofit organization that works to provide custom-made, mortgage-free homes to wounded and disabled veterans, as well as The First Tee, an internationally respected youth organization that promotes life skills and leadership through the game of golf.
The Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home is located at 8495 Heirloom Boulevard in The Grove Community.
