The Family Dinner Table

Family dinner table (noun) – a place where relatives share a meal, laugh, cry, argue, tell stories and create priceless memories.
Why is it that when you ask anyone, (of any age group) – what their fondest food memory is – everyone has a story?
As part of our 100th anniversary celebration – that is exactly what we did – asked everyday people of all ages what they held most dear and we received an outpour of videos that made our hearts smile.
This video illustrates the importance of “family dinners.”
It seems like the rushing around to get somewhere just never stops. Whether you are off to the office, shuttling the kids to piano or soccer practice or trying to get to your next meeting, after a long and stressful day, it’s nice to sit down and enjoy a momentary pause with family or friends to talk about your day. While it may seem like an ordinary nightly ritual, over time as everyone grows older and the kids move out, the setting of great family “controversies” and “can’t-believe-that-actually-happened” moments are what every member of the family will reminisce and laugh about years later. Whether your family enjoys dinner together every night, or there is one special night each week that is dedicated to sitting around the table, these are the moments – the glue – that molds the bonds of a family.
From our family to yours. We dedicate this video to all of those special “around the table” food moments that make you nostalgic.
