Thermador had the opportunity to partner with renowned winemaker Rob Mondavi Jr. and his wife Lydia on a very special project.  Both Lydia and Rob are avid culinary enthusiasts, and they selected the Thermador product line of cooking, cleaning, refrigeration and ventilation products for their new vacation estate.

Located on the scenic Port Royal Sound in South Carolina, this stunning estate embodies the family’s casually elegant lifestyle and passion for entertaining, delectable foods and of course, wine — making the innovative Thermador appliances the centerpiece of the home’s haven:  The Kitchen.  Thermador appliances also made a grand statement in the wine gallery utility room, the butler’s pantry, guest house, master bedroom and upstairs work gallery.

It features seven different cooking options, giving the Mondavis an abundance of cooking power to prepare large feasts for family and friends. The perfect pairing to our cooking appliances, custom paneled fresh food and freezer columns from the Thermador Freedom® Collection were selected to provide ample food storage options and to ensure the culinary enthusiasts’ hand-selected ingredients will be at their freshest when it is time to cook.

In the wine gallery utility room, the couple showcases and stores their extensive fine wine collection in modular wine columns from the Thermador Freedom® Collection.
