Now accepting entries, the 2010-2011 Kitchen Design Challenge offers professional designers, builders, architects, remodelers and kitchen dealers the opportunity to put their innovative minds to work in a competition to win up to $25,000 and a trip the brand’s gorgeous showroom facility in Scottsdale.

Here are some key details of the 2010-2011 Kitchen Design Challenge:

—Under the rules, professionals who submit an original kitchen design utilizing Thermador appliances between now and Dec. 1, 2011, will be eligible to split $100,000 in prize money and take advantage of a number of other benefits.

—Eight regional winners will receive a $5,000 cash prize and an expense-paid trip for two to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch for a design celebration weekend featuring a visit to the spectacular Thermador Gallery and Training Center.

—In addition, the regional winners will compete against each other in two separate categories — traditional/transitional and contemporary/modern — for a $20,000 grand prize. Runner-up finishers in each category will receive $10,000.

—Contestants will be judged on who demonstrates the best use of Thermador cooking, cleaning, refrigeration and ventilation products. Winners will also have the opportunity to be featured in a national publication and on the Thermador website.
